I heard a message today regarding 1John 1:1-4 (I'll let you look it up.) I want to share an experience I had the other day...I was getting my nails done and "Kim" began to ask me about my family, my husband, my marriage, etc. I told her that we live day by day praying to God asking Him for strength and guidance. She said, "I don't know about that prayer. How do I pray?" Wow - what an open door to share about God! Her English was very broken and I felt like I was stumbling over myself trying to explain how God loves her and wants a relationship with her - I gave her an example how to pray - told her I'd be back soon so we could talk again. I mentioned the passage at the beginning of this note because of verse 3 - "what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ". If you belong to Christ, you have "the Life (v 2)" in you which enables you to "proclaim" your own personal testimony. As Kim and I talked I was able to share some specific ways the Lord has helped me as a wife and mother. What are some specific ways the Lord has ministered to you?
